This tiny back yard once hosted a Koi pond and little else. The Client required a little bit of everything in this small garden in which their young daughter could safely play.  The emphasis here was on sharp, precise detail and comfortable shapes that relax the eye in an otherwise square, flat very enclosed space.  Corner patio with shade sail over, large enough for a cosy meal for 3. A shapely level lawn area on which to play and smooth formal sawn stone paving for barefoot walking, encompassed within well-defined texturally planted beds.
